The reason why the Japanese shirts like the Whitesville have the tag at the bottom is because they’re loopwheel shirts. They don’t have any side seams which is where the tags are usually sewn. I kind of like it when it’s peeking out, it’s a subtle sign you’re wearing a loopwheel shirt.

Fanatic video, glad I was finally able to watch it. An idea for a video might be to do them in price categories, example shirts under $50, $75, $100 and include ones from your previous videos.

They wear too warm for summer IMO.

I just got the UES shirt in grey and gosh is it ever soft and incredibly comfortable. The fit and length are fantastic too.

My girlfriend got me a Naked and Famous tee and that got me more comfortable spending more money on plain white tees. A little (lot) internet searching and UA-cam browsing later and I have 4 ues Ramayana shirts (thanks to your rec!) that I wear so often they're my uniform

I have a Pure Blue Japan t-shirt in dark blue which I love and which fits me perfectly. Unfortunately, they don't do it in white though.

when it comes to white t shirts I stick to Uniqlo because then I don't panic if I stain them. I drink coffee all the time so my first nightmare is to spill some cofee onto some 80 euro white t shirt. I have three velva sheen t shirts but I went with size L and I think I should have sized down. Warehouse and co make great t shirts for 60 euros.

The Velva sheen rolled and the 2 pac t shirts are good. Also the Costco white t shirt is amazing value. Feels a lot better than the more expensive brands.

Of these T-shirts, I only have the N&F, both in <M> and <L>. The <L> is too big for me. I find the neck a bit wide for my liking on both of them. Interestingly, I also have it in <M> in black, and I like that one much better. This is my go-to black T-shirt.

Any recommendations on hot summer worthy tshirts ? Pima tees ?

I've gotta try the UES t shirt with the way you talked it up. You mentioned the beefy collar which perked my ears up because i think the collar of The Flat Head shirts are maybe the bedt collar of any of my t shirts.

I love these round-ups of the best T-shirts that you put out. It strikes me that you are always wearing the Warehouse 4601 slub cotton Ts in these video, which are also my favorite Ts. I, like you, still hunt for other options I might like as much or for different reasons. I just got a pack of Whitesville from Self Edge in NYC a few weeks ago and have been really liking them. I am interested in try the UES Ramayana Ts.

I have a mix of premium tees and TK Maxx ones. I like Ironheart and Studio D'Artisan amongst the premium ones. Best two types I've found in TK Maxx are Folk and Douglas Hayward Also the hem label annoys me too.

Any thoughts on Sunray Sportstwear's Makaha tee? For me, absolutely on a par with Samurai, The Flat Head, Tanuki etc. I also love the look of the Dubbleworks heavy fabric pigment tee, although I've never actually handled one. Ditto with the Whitesville heavyweight pocket tee.

I really like the shirts I have from Left Field Co., Tanuki, UES and The Strike Gold. Always on the lookout for good new ones though

Do you own any velva sheen products ?

Natural deodorants are rubbish, aluminum has proven to block sweat effectively. Just apply it the night before and use a spray or roll on version and let it dry, rather than the stick kind.

I’m about to buy a sashiko 12 oz shirt from railcar and they are telling me to order a whole size up and do an initial soak. Recommend? I always hand wash my nice shirts cold and hang dry.
